Steps to reproduce:

on OSX, tried to do CMD+click on an entry


Actual results:

The file got opened.


Expected results:

The file containing the folder should have opened, similarly to the magnifying glass button behaviour.

I think that CMD+click is opening the folder in a new window only for sidebar items also the behavior you described is the same for Safari.

Yes, I think it would a nice feature nevertheless.
It's not uncommon needing to access the file without opening it, so a shortcut would be really useful.
I don't use Safari so I can't comment further.
