It used to be that if I typed "* foo" in the awesomebar, only bookmarks would show up in the drop down. Now, not only does a search term show up in the awesomebar, but worse it is the default result. The sigils should take higher priority over the search result.
On second thought, this should be filed in the Location bar component.

basically the fact is that the additional entry just shows what happens when confirming what's typed in the input field, indeed confirming "* foo" you would not go to a bookmark, but to a search page for "* foo". 
Actually we should only search "foo" but that will be fixed by bug 1177895...

Now that the first entry is pre-selected this should be clear, thus I'm marking as wontfix.
