Steps to reproduce:

View attached file (different sized divs with background images)


Actual results:

CPU use rises to constant 20% to 25% (on 4-core machine).

Turning on Paint Rectangles in dev tools shows continuous rapid repainting of the images in the divs. 

If you change the two images to be the same size, the problem goes away. It only happens if the same image is presented as a background image in different sizes.


Expected results:

Should have painted once and stopped.

It appears this bug may be fixed in Aurora 35.0
