Details

The RPi has an rndis that gecko doesn't know how to configure.  As a workaround, we forcibly configure it in init.rc and then disable offline-status management for NetworkManager.  This appears to be approximately what's done for pandaboard too.

It would be nice moving forward to allow gecko to configure these devices internally, to avoid all the workarounds.  Unknown amount of work.
