While dogfooding Alder Nightly (https://wiki.mozilla.org/QA/Firefox/Alder_Dogfooding), after opening a link in a new tab, I got stuck in a state that exhibited multiple misbehaviours: - None of the the tabs in the tab bar were shown in the UI to be selected. - Nevertheless, clicking on a tab would change what page was shown, but again without the the UI showing the tab to be selected. Also, the page shown was not the page corresponding to the tab clicked, but the one beside it (can't remember in which direction). - The new tab I opened did not show up in the tab bar, but the page was nevertheless open when clicking on a different tab. Restarting Firefox fixed the problem. I haven't been able to reproduce it since.
If you do see it again, please open the Browser Console - I suspect there will be some useful information there.
Also, a list of your enabled add-ons would be good to have.
