1087719 - Rocketbar URL field has wrong length

The length of the URL field depends on app status?

I am using Yelp (installed from Marketplace) and a bookmark on the homescreen (www.kleine.at).
The URL field for Yelp is much longer than for the bookmarked site.

Is this according to spec?

Yes, this was done in implementation. Currently the rocketbar shrinks to a percentage of the fully expanded size. I believe there is a bug filed somewhere, which I can't find right now, which tracks fixing this. It would be quite a bit of work to fix, with several performance considerations - we have to be really careful about how we perform the animation.

I think you're thinking of bug 1054778, but you closed that one. I've filed a new bug 1088078 to track this refactoring, probably for 2.2.

Hi, Gregor, do you know who could work on this bug? Do we have any agreement to use flex layout for this bug? Since this bug doesn't have an owner for a while, I am not sure if it's feasible to put this into 2.2. Thanks.

Because of the '...' on the right side of the extended rocketbar for bookmarks?
