User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:36.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/36.0
Build ID: 20141022030202

Steps to reproduce:

1. Perform cold boot
2. Launch Nightly 36.0a1 (2014-10-22)
3. If desired, log in to Webroot add-on
4. If desired, restore previous session
5. Go to any webpage whose length exceeds one browser page (so that it is necessary to scroll down to see material below what fits on the screen when you first visit the site)
6. Remember where mouse pointer is. Using wheel on a wheel mouse, scroll down to bottom of webpage while watching top of webpage and any columns, frames, etc. When you reach bottom of webpage, scroll back to top while watching bottom of webpage and any columns, frames, etc.

Actual results:

There is a delay in the onset of scrolling. When it does happen, the scrolling appears to be happening in the wrong place on the page (all at the top when scrolling down, all at the bottom when scrolling up, in one column or frame, sometimes the wrong one, etc.) or possibly even in the wrong direction (? left-to-right instead of up and down?) Page is all messed up and cannot be properly read after scrolling. (See attachments showing appearance of webpage before and after scrolling.)

Expected results:

Scrolling should begin with no unexpected delay, should be context-sensitive (it should happen only in the part of the webpage over which the mouse pointer is hovering), and should be smooth. Page should maintain its appearance during and after vertical scrolling.

What's the purpose of the add-on Webroot? Is it necessary to repro the issue?

No. I included it just in case this add-on
might have something to do with the problem.
