The speed test (I ran only the Brazil test) gives results too high. The same test thru Netscape 4.78 gives coherent results. My guess is, Mozilla doesn't know how to send a "never cache this" page request, while Netscape and IE do. I tested on RH 7.2, and am behind a Squid transparent proxy. By the way, bug 87333 says numion.com is explicitly locking Mozilla -- I didn't see this happening. I posted the appropriate comment there too.

seems to wfm with a very recent build. Reporter which build did you try btw?
Reporter: Can you try this again with Mozilla version 0.9.8 and add a comment whether it works or not?
no response from reporter. marking worksforme per comment #2 (please note such tests are very bad indicators of network speed) please reopen if you can still reproduce this in a recent build or 0.9.9

Not likely. My workplace stopped using transparent proxy shortly after I reported the problem. My chances of being able to set up a test environment are slim to none. :( Worksforme it is then.
