Karl, I'm wondering if this and bug 1089456 are the latest rendition of outdated libraries on the test slaves biting us in the rear. Thoughts?

This is not obviously related to bug 1089456. ISTR other crash bugs in system GL libraries on test machines, but don't know the details.
Specifically there was an ASAN failure which was avoided by disabling.

Nobody's stepping up to work on this, so I'll just start disabling any tests that hit this as they come along.
