Because less perl in the tree can't be a bad thing. greps show no instances of
"abs2rel.pl" or "abs2rel" in the tree.
Builds seem to have at least not fallen over so far:

Since I've done the research on this one already.
Git full history says abs2rel.pl hasn't been used since 2002 [1] (and a mere 2 months after it was added to the tree [2])
