Details
Once we can load scripts from the cache, the 24hour check should be implemented. It should also be called from ServiceWorkerGlobalScope.update().

It's not clear to me whether this bug needs to be fixed. I mean, the 24hour check already landed and ServiceWorkerGlobalScope.update() is no longer part of the spec (it was also removed from the code a few days ago). On the other hand I see some references to this algorithm in the spec so I guess this still needs to be done. Nikhil, could you clarify and confirm please? Thanks!

If this bug needs to be still done I guess It should block v2. Change it if needed please.

The 24 hour update patch fixes this.
