Details

From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.7 [en] (WinNT; I)
BuildID: 2001080110

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. I copy a URL from an email Outlook to Windows clipboard using Control-c.
2. I want to make my browser go to this site. So I go to URL window of Mozilla,
& paste it using Control-v. This operation (pasting) is TOOOOOOOO SLOW. I don't
know what all is Mozilla internally checking. And the browser is unusable in
this period for any work - not even to fire another browser window.
3. This is a fairely repeatable behavior (but... there are occasions when I
don't feel upset - may be sometimes it actually pastes fast & I didn't notice!).
4. I lose patience, fire up Netscape 4.7 to file this bug. Actually, URL paste
also works fine in Netscape.
Are you really using a build from early _August_? If so, please retest with a
more recent build (eg 0.9.5 or a nightly).
Reporter: Your build is really old.

Please try a more recent build and reopen this bug if it still occurs for you:
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest/mozilla-win32-talkback.zip
(as always, be sure to delete your old Mozilla directory before installing the
new one)
