User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:32.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/32.0 Build ID: 20140830210550 Steps to reproduce: Add a server which is based on Tor connection, a .onion connection This connection is valid when connecting through Torbirdy or when using Proxy through Tor However when you disable Torbirdy, then when you open chat, it keeps showing error, "Error: Lost Connection with Server, Reconnecting in x seconds." Actual results: The "Connect" button doesnt change to "Disconnect" button and hence there is no way to ask thunderbird to stop trying to reconnect. Expected results: "Connect" button should have changed to "Disconnect" and user should be able to ask Thunderbird not to try reconnecting to server.

You can stop the reconnections by using the context menu, "Cancel reconnection". The button is "Connect" while it's not actually trying to connect so you can reconnect early, which is generally the more common thing users want to do.
Thanks. I didnt even know there was a context menu which would be shown on right click. Now I am able to cancel reconnection. Please close this bug.
