Using this, one can run and debug certified apps (like the Contacts app) from webIDE: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools/WebIDE#Debugging_certified_apps_%28including_main_process%29

When I then try to launch the ContactsManager (which is apparently the Contacts app), all I get is some kind of directory listing of the Contacts app.
I would expect to see the Contacts app itself.
The Contacts app is part of the Communications app, which has multiple entry_points[1].

WebIDE does not directly support entry_points, and I've been told they are to be phased out.

Anyway, it's possible to debug the Contacts app by:

1. Enabling iframe selection in toolbox options
2. Debugging the System app
3. Using the iframe toggle to select the contacts frame

I am not sure exactly what ContactsManager is, but I would imagine you can debug it also using a similar technique.
