Romain -- Does it work with a fresh profile? If you used the same profile to go between Fx34 and Fx36 and back to Fx34, this could be the reason for your failure. Did you use the same profile to try Nightly or Aurora? Or there could be something unique to one of your contacts that is causing a problem. I've cc'd Mike (de Boer) who wrote most of the code for the feature in case he has other things he'd like you to try.

It works fine on a fresh profile. I did use the same profile on Nightly, Aurora and Beta so that's probably a known issue. I'll let you close this bug if it is a known issue or a "won't fix" fairly edge case.

Yeah, I don't think we'll want to support swapping profiles between Nightly, Aurora, Beta. We should make sure that importing contacts is not broken after updating to a new version of Firefox. For example, a Firefox 34 release user updating for Firefox 35 release. Let's cross that bridge when we come to it though. That said, I'm wondering if we should release note this?
