Details
Though `Airplane mode` is well known term in spec,
from FAA announcement, Now Airplane does allow wifi and bluetooth connection.
```
If your air carrier provides Wi-Fi service during flight, you may use those services. You can also continue to use short-range Bluetooth accessories, like wireless keyboards.
```

further more, Many of our target users in emerging market may have no chance to take airplane, but does have motivation to save their phone battery by disabling cell phone and wifi signals.
So, how about call it something more intuitive and meaningful such as `No Signal` Mode?

ni @jenny to bring this topic to UX discussion,
ni @bruce to ask for help checking with carrier. If the change break the carrier acceptance, we can't do that though.

David, do you know if "airplane mode" is required by various country certifications?

I'm inclined to keep the term and function because it's conventional, widely used around the world by now. But I agree that Fred's point, so if "airplane mode" is not required to pass certifications, maybe we can consider changing the name, or add another mode to provide more flexibility on controlling the device's signals. This will probably be a long term discussion ;) Thanks!

Hi,
I think so, Airplane Mode is still required by country certifications. I'd keep this feature as it is...
Cheers!
David

Hi David,
thanks for replying. The feature is required without doubt,
I wonder if they specify the `name` should be Airplane Mode? Isn't any room to change the name to something more intuitive so we may benefit to our target users?
