I don't know what email client was being used, but it encoded the message using Quoted Printable. This is hard to test since only prod sends real emails. You'd have to do something with the email whitelist on stage or use the fake email admin tool somehow.

1. Post a Commbadge note (from a different account from the owner of thread's app).
2. Go to the fake email admin tool.
3. Send an email to the reply-to.
4. Check the Commbadge thread.

Expected:

Reply looks fine.

Actual:

Reply includes quoted text, =20 characters, scrambling.
