I sometimes can't resize my window

Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.10; rv:33.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/33.0
Build ID: 20141023194920
Steps to reproduce:
Hold the mouse cursor over the lower right corner.
Actual results:
I see the resize cursor as usual, but when I drag the mouse, the window does not resize as usual.
This seems to happen at random, after the browser has been running for several hours to several days. I haven't been able to find any specific behavior that triggers it. I tried disabling all my extensions and it still happens. If I restart the browser, then I can resize the window, until it starts happening again.
If I try to enter full screen mode while this is happening, the browser looks kind of funny and doesn't fill the whole screen.
This has been happening at least since Firefox 32. It may have been happening earlier, but I can't remember for sure.
I reported this bug to Mozilla Support (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1026510) and tried the one suggestion I got (resetting Firefox) and it didn't help.
Expected results:
The window should resize as usual.

I have been running Firefox 33 continuously for about 2 weeks and I haven't run into this problem. I don't know why. I just upgraded to Firefox 33.1. I will post here if it happens again.

Hi everyone:
It looks like this bug (or something like it) is really surfacing in 35.
See: https://input.mozilla.org/en-US/?q=resize+maximize&product=Firefox&date_end=2015-01-30&date_start=2014-12-23&platform=OS%20X
Thanks

mikez302, if you could test with the beta (36), it would be great. Thanks

I am sorry to say that I am not willing to install a potentially buggy beta browser version and spend weeks or months testing for this bug.
I would consider it if the bug were something that I could reproduce within a few hours or a few days, and not something that seems to happen at random on rare occasions. For me, it is not happening nearly as often as it used to.
If my memory is correct, I haven't experienced the bug since my last comment (#2). I don't remember ever seeing it in Firefox 35. If I see it again in any stable version, I will post here about it.

Hi Mike, thanks for that update. It's very helpful to us to understand the frequency and versions that this happened for you.

So we miscategorized the early feedback. Looks like the issue that we're having in 35 is more similar to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1122942. Moving discussion there.
Apologies for the confusion.
