Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:33.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/33.0 Build ID: 20141023194920 Steps to reproduce: I tried to sync with my CalDav server (which is Baikal) and it failed because it was using Digest access authentication. When I switch from "Digest" to "Basic", then it worked. Baikal strongly advices to use Digest instead of Basic for security reasons, I don't know if this is a regression (was Digest ever supported by Calendar app?) or a request for a new feature, but I think it could be interesting to look into it to provide a more secure synchronization for CalDav in the Calendar application :)

For your information, I tested this on the Flame device using a nightly 2.2 release Build Identifier 20141028040202 Git SHA-1 6a7fb482

OS: All → Gonk (Firefox OS)
I just ran into the same issue. I'm using Darwin Calendar Server, which has HTTP Basic authentication disabled in its default configuration. As a workaround I've enabled Basic auth on my server, but this won't be possible for everyone.
