openbadges does not recognize email addresses with different case. My openbadges.org account is linked to an email address Flore@whatever... (with a capital F). I log in with my persona account flore@whatever (no capital F) to openbadges without any problem. But when I want to send badges to my backpack, sometimes, I'm told that this badge was not awarded to me. Apparently because the case in the email address is different. The worst part is I could send my webmaker mentor badge from my webmaker account but not the event host. Probably because the issuer did not use the exact same case for both badges. It's really a pain, asking for the badge to be reissued is not always an option because they claim the badge has already been issued to this user (because the system does not block on case).
