Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:33.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/33.0
Build ID: 20141027150301

Steps to reproduce:

Tried to set a new home page via 'Options > General > Home Page' using the 'Use Current Pages' button.
Also tried setting the home page via About:config > browser.startup.homepage.
Have also tried clearing the cookies and cache after setting the home page each time.

Actual results:

The new home page was invoked during the current session, but instead the old home page is invoked every time the browser is re-opened.

Expected results:

The home page that was last set should have been invoked each time the browser is opened.

Does browser.startup.homepage keep your custom value or does it actually get reset after a restart?

Are there other preferences that don't persist?
browser.startup.homepage gets reset at restart.
Sorry haven't noticed if any other values get reset.
