We can be doing a lot of purging for space but not producing any output, especially on windows, and are vulnerable to buildbot terminating the job because of 'no output in 1200 seconds'. Hit this a couple of times in update verify jobs recently, but it applies globally.

Verified that windows also has this command line option.
