Steps to reproduce:

Wanted to close https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=975382 as resolved fixed because it happened that the issue I reported got fixed independent of my input in the bug report.


Actual results:

Available options are 

  * UNCONFIRMED
  * RESOLVED
    * INVALID
    * WONTFIX
    * DUPLICATE
    * WORKSFORME

Expected results:

I should be able to mark the bug as RESOLVED/FIXED.
we don't allow the reporter to mark their bug as RESOLVED/FIXED unless they have editbugs.
this is by design to prevent misuse of that resolution.

when a bug is marked as RESOLVED/FIXED, it generally means "this bug changed the code to resolve the issue", and we found many reporters were marking their bugs as RESOLVED/FIXED even if there wasn't the case.  in your case, marking the bug as RESOLVED/WORKSFORME would have been more appropriate.
