Adam: When adding an attachment, I would recommend "forcing" the file type. For
instance, in your attachment 57214 [details], Bugzilla auto-detected that as octet-steam,
whereas that really should be text/html.

Summary: not cached pages are saved as binary mishmash (dataloss) → not cached pages are saved as binary mishmash
Same goes for servers such as
www.depechemode.cz
www.manga.cz
or www.animelyrics.com

I've noticed this bug in Opera 5.12 as well. In Opera it helps if you view the
source of the page and try saving again. In Mozilla, it doesn't seem to.
I think this is a content-encoding issue (we're saving some compressed format,
although it doesn't seem to be recognized by infozip or gzip). I have another
bug on that, so this one might become a dup if this turns out to be the case.

The content-encoding issues should be shaken out by now.... and I can't
reproduce this bug. Of course I can't reproduce it with old builds either....
WFM 2002030208/Win2K with Slunecnice page and also with pages of Animelyrics.com.
Should anybody try it on WinNT 4.0 to confirm WFM?

Please try www.manga.cz as well.
I can't reproduce this bug with 2002020406/Win98 on www.slunecnice.cz nor on
www.depechemode.cz, but pages from www.manga.cz still contain mishmash in them
when saved.
The page is being sent as content-encoding: deflate, which we claim to support
but do not, apparently.
