Details

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open MP-dev homepage, make sure you are logged out https://marketplace-dev.allizom.org/
2. Click on the register link
3. Enter a valid email address and a password and select an invalid year of birth (i.e. 2007)
4. Click on the sign up button
5. After the warning message is displayed close the register pop-up window and click again on the register link

Expected results:
The register new user pop-up window is opened, the user can register an account.

Actual results: A pop-up windows is displayed containing the following message: "
Cannot create account
You must meet certain age requirements to create a Firefox Account. "
The user can't register a new account.

Notes/Issues:
Verified in FF36(Win7) in marketplace-dev.allizom.org Issue can be reproduced in MP-dev and MP-stage

My only concern about this implementation is about shared devices.

:krupa - on a shared device, the user only has to close their browser. Making changes is going to require input/signoff from legal.
Issue is reproducing in production

This is by design--based on recommendations from legal--to promote COPPA compliance. Starting a new session will reset FxA behavior.
