Steps to reproduce:

Every time Thunderbird starts it pops the system integration dialog and the proceeding two dialogs after that one.


Actual results:

Even if I have repeatedly told TB not to bother me with these integration questions they come up every application launch.


Expected results:

TB should have a setting to not bother the user about system integration at application launch ever again unless the user chooses to do that.

My plan was to replace Outlook with TB and Lightning as a desktop organizer and integrate the email client later, but that plan has run afoul of this **** behavior. TB uninstalled and thrown in the ashcan.

This problem is most certainly NOT "resolved" in any respect. How do you expect the users to accept an application which won't remember their settings? The use of the very confusing terms on the buttons only exacerbates the situation, which remains unresolved for the bulk of the user base. Just do a ten second Google search for this issue and you'll find it is all over the darn place.

C'mon. guys. Ignoring the bright glow to the east doesn't stop the sun from rising. Fix this, willya?

I marked it resolved as a duplicate, meaning the same bug has already been reported as bug 1036592. That bug is fixed for trunk (develpment builds), and awaiting approval to land for the next tb31 security release.
