Possibly str:

Put phone into airplane mode, toggle wouldn't un-set.
Rebooted device 6 times or so trying to get airplane mode to un-set.
Airplane mode finally un-set, used phone normally till battery ran down and died during a call.
Put phone into charge mode, left it to charge to 100%.
Booted phone out of charge mode, find out b2g desktop won't show and settings app is basically useless.

Got adb working, backed up profile, did shallow flash of latest v2.2 Flame-KK
Pushed backed up profile (after verified working on "clean profile")
Find broken b2g again with bad settings db
Delete bad settings db, restart b2g, works fine now.

Apparently this is a shallow flash over an older base image. This isn't a supported config so i don't know how much we can hope to do here.

This is not a shallow flash over an older base image. I have been running v1.88 base image since it was put up on the MDN.

This corruption happened sometime on the 2014-11-04 19:51:15 (7c9e7cab) OTA.

I tried a shallow flash to today's 2014-11-04 19:51:15, which I thought would resolve the issue.

However, upon restoring the corrupted settings db, B2G stops working properly. If I delete the settings files, B2G works. If I restore the bad backup, B2G stops working. I can do this all day repeatedly.
