Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:34.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/34.0 Build ID: 20141103144234 Steps to reproduce: This bugs is similar to the issue reported as bug 1028153; as I am not sure that it is indeed related to localstorage, hence, I have filled a new bug. As it might be also a server issues - or at least fixable on the server side, I have also filled bug 1094652. Using Firefox 34/beta to access https://accounts.firefox.com/, it only shows a white rectangle. The developer console shows: SecurityError: The operation is insecure. 1da513a8.main.js:14 That's with the Security/cookies settings: "Use custom settings for history" with [x] Remeber browsing and download history / [x] Remember search and form history / [x] Accept cookies from sites / Accept third-party cookies [from visited] / Keep until [ask me every time]. If I set them to "Remember history", the login fields, firefox logo etc. will appear - and I can actually log in, create an account etc.
Did you test with a clean profile? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles

(In reply to Loic from comment #1) > Did you test with a clean profile? Yes - no difference: It still fails. (Requires to change the privacy settings as the default is "Remember history".)
