Please see my attached screengrab for reference...
On New Tab page, can we update the tile images with more regularity than we currently do? In the image provided, that's the Yahoo tile I've been greeted with for more than three months.
Problem is, it's a very negative image for me because coincidentally the tile image was grabbed while Yahoo featured a pic of a smiling Darren Wilson (the Missouri cop who shot and killed an unarmed black youth). I really, really don't like being greeted by a smiling Darren Wilson every time I open a new tab. In turn, I associate this negative feeling with using the Firefox browser.
I'm not sure if my case is a fringe case or not, but I would guess various news sites comprise tiles for many users. And if the imagery displayed is particularly negative (as news sites are wont to so), this should perhaps be considered.
Even if the tile imagery isn't negative, per se, it would still be nice to see more regularly updated screengrabs to keep the tile experience fresh.
Thanks!
