Setup Steps:
1) Flame device is set to 319mb

Repro Steps:
1) Update a Flame device to BuildID: 20141106001204
2) Go to the homescreen or browser
3) Tap left side of the status bar


Actual:
hidden rocketbar accessible 

Expected:
no hidden rocketbar

Requesting clarification - are you talking about a touch event in the red area in the screenshot? If so I think what is happening is that is just placing the cursor in the rocketbar/search area when you tap there.

scrolling down on the homescreen where the rocketbar is no longer visible then tapping same area

This seems like a minor bug, as the user should be able to access the rocketbar from any window.

I think the only spot that's prevalent is the Import Contacts now.  see bug 1152938 and 
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1150834#c7

Marking this as a duplicate of bug 1152938 as the fix there seems to fix this issue.
