User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:33.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/33.0 Build ID: 20141105223254 Steps to reproduce: Numerous tabs open: >9 tabs Mouse unable to access immediately adjacent tab: left or right of current focus Notes Sounds like Bug 365184 [unresolved] First noticed in 33-branch Actual results: Immediately adjacent tab inaccessible by mouse Workaround - mouse Select any other displayed tab Reselect the previous inaccessible tab Expected results: Immediately adjacent tab accessible immediately by mouse - as is any other displayed tab

Safe mode disables add-ons, so maybe one of them is the culprit. You can reset your current profile (a copy is saved on the desktop) to keep your data: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/reset-firefox-to-fix-most-problems If it's back, feel free to reopen the bug report.
