Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:33.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/33.0
Build ID: 20141105223254
Steps to reproduce:
Numerous tabs open: >9 tabs
Mouse unable to access immediately adjacent tab: left or right of current focus
Notes
Sounds like Bug 365184 [unresolved]
First noticed in 33-branch
Actual results:
Immediately adjacent tab inaccessible by mouse
Workaround - mouse
Select any other displayed tab
Reselect the previous inaccessible tab
Expected results:
Immediately adjacent tab accessible immediately by mouse - as is any other displayed tab
Did you test in safe mode (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode) and with a clean profile (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles)?
Is it 100% reproducible with your current profile?

Safe mode: no tab switching problems
Clean profile: ditto
Yes, reproducible with current profile: clearly arises from this. Ok to close report.
Flags: needinfo?(consulgroup)
Safe mode disables add-ons, so maybe one of them is the culprit.
You can reset your current profile (a copy is saved on the desktop) to keep your data:

If it's back, feel free to reopen the bug report.
