Description

If Quicklaunch is enabled (using Mozilla Build 20011111008), in a DELL Latitude
laptop, the Intel Speedstep settings give a warning during boot time, that it is
unable to change the setting (from Battery Optimized to Mazimum Performance).

Config of Laptop: DELL Latitude C600
Processor: x86 Family 6 Model 8 Stepping 10
RAM: 256 MB
System: Windows 2000 with Service Pack 2

After the warning, the Speedstep setting can be changed manually. If Quicklaunch
is disabled, there are no warnings.

Note: Speedstep tool is the last but one program to start during boottime, the
last is Mozilla (using Quicklaunch).
