In the last several days, the update mechanism has been very buggy for me. It takes several attempts for the update to succeed. When it fails, the new files aren't getting updated — I get a message that Firefox is still running, but I can't confirm that using Task Manager. This happens with my test profile (practically fresh) as well as my regular one.

The update mechanism seems to have been changed in the last few days, and the problem I reported no longer happens. Closing...
