User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/38.0.2125.111 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce: Clicked the "open menu" button Actual results: A confusing, disorienting, non-standard, overwhelming, and unhelpful menu showed on the screen. Clicking customize DISABLES THE WHOLE BROWSER and presents a confusing, disorienting, non-standard, overwhelming, and unhelpful customization screen. Expected results: A standard menu should show.
Assuming you're on Windows, you can right-click the toolbar, click "Menu bar", and permanently show a "normal" menu bar. We have no intention of radically changing the menu. I'm also not really sure what you *were* expecting in terms of customization mode. Every single one I've seen is modal, and doesn't let you use the rest of the interface while customizing, nor am I aware of a "standard" for how to customize UIs. Did you read the tip panel that showed the first time you opened it? Did you try actually using it by dragging items to and fro? I don't think we're planning to change the customization screen, either, but feel free to explain what you would have expected instead - right now it's hard to consider what we would and wouldn't do on that point, because you've not indicated what you expect instead of what we have.
