1096457 - Getting "old" Get Involved responses for Documentation in en-US

I occasionally receive Get Involved responses that are coming from the "old" system, even though the language is set to en-US. I have no idea how these users are managing to find the old response form. They should be getting the form on https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/contribute/ and going through Basket. For example:

I got one today that reported a typo in a es-ES page (bug 1097753), so maybe they are coming via other locales.

There are some places where the old form is still available, specifically here: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/contribute/page/ linked to from the footer on "Contribute to this page" and here: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/contribute/embed/ designed to be wrapped in an iframe, though I don't know what external sites might be framing that one.

As part of "Phase 2" (we have a kickoff tomorrow) we should discuss what to do with the "Contribute to this page" page, maybe just removing the link from the footer and killing the page entirely. 

And we need to look into where the framed version might be in use and figure out what to do about it. If nobody's using it, we can safely kill it. If it's still in use we might be able to do a much simplified version of the new form that would work in a frame.

We know the old form has to keep working for some time because the new form isn't usable until it's fully localized, but en-US should definitely prefer the new form over the old.

Regarding the computer set, I am working from France, in an American computer, set firstly to work in English, and I eventually changed everything I use to Spanish... so, I supposed the answer to your question is "Yes", but in fact, I really do not know... it is Windows  :-D

Mystery solved! Unfortunately you're probably going to keep getting some of these submissions until we can fully transition to the new setup. Meanwhile I'm calling this a 'wontfix'
