Details

STR:
* Open about:preferences.
* Restart the browser and restore the session.

Actual:
* about:preferences is blank (or maybe just a spinner on Mac).  No amount of reloading will show any content.  Closing the tab and opening a new one works as expected.
I see the same for about:accounts (but not about:config) - so it's probably not prefs specific.  If I view source, I see the content - it's just not rendered.

I forgot e10s was enabled in that profile, so this sounds lot like bug 1085813
