Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:33.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/33.0
Build ID: 20141013200257

Steps to reproduce:

Problem the flash version very oldest in firefox on linux.
Chrome is supported always a latest flash player - not a plugin, use in package attached - firefox is support only, 4 year oldest 11.2. This a problem in all FLASH media Application - tipical Audio/Video, ScreenSharing...etc apps eg.:webconferencing systems.
 Testing eg.: clickwebinar.com, clickmeeting.com.

The HTML5 +Js is not all compatibile Flash functions and FLASH based apps is not parsing automatical! If app development use only flash app, Firefox is bad... require using Chrome always on linux

Actual results:

Mozilla is not freshing, adapting new Flash versions from Adobe on linux.

Expected results:

Freshing always the latest flash player version eg.: google-chrome. Chrome is use always latest flash player generaly integrating in core. This a good idea.
Adobe stopped the support for flash on Linux. Google bought the source code and they created a flash player based on their own Pepper API instwad of the NPAPI.
The request to support pepper is bug 729481 (wontfix)

No, it is not "all". I have been using Adobe Flash for NPAPI (so the only one available for Firefox under GNU/Linux), and I've not had any problem so far because of having an old version of flash. So, definitely, not all Flash applications...

> If app development use only flash app, Firefox is bad...

I think that we had already established in the late 90s that this kind of applets was bad, when Java applets were "in".

> Mozilla is not freshing, adapting new Flash versions from Adobe on linux.

Mozilla has nothing to do with the product "Macromedia Flash Player", now distributed by Adobe Systems Incorporated.

You should direct your complaint to Adobe.

> Chrome is supported always a latest flash player - not a plugin

AFAIK, Chrome uses a plugin, it just uses a different API and comes bundled with the browser, but it is still a plugin.
This is a Duplicate of Bug 729481, if you take the time to read through the thread you will find a prediction that people will find another browser. At the time of that posting Firefox had around 30% of the market share, making it the second most used browser, IE of course the first. Now as of 2015 recent statistic show Firefox competing with Opera for third place hanging around 10% and Chrome with more market share then Firefox ever accomplished. There was/is a fulfilling prophecy in that bug report that people did/will find another browser.. With Spartan and Chrome both dropping support for NPAPI how is Firefox/Mozilla staying relevant?
