10972 - Thread pane is blank when switching between folders

Build 1999072823M9: Win32/NT4

Overview Description: Switching between mail folders periodically makes the
Thread pane appear blank.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Configure for one IMAP account
2. Launch Mail
3. Double click onto the Account so the folders expand.
4. Select the Inbox which should display message headers in the thread pane.
5. Select another folder which should display message headers.
6. Switch back and forth between folders.

Actual Results: Periodically the message headers in the thread pane will
disappear. One way to see them again is to exit and restart the application.

Expected Results: The message headers should always display in the thread pane,
even when switching between folders.

Additional Builds and Platforms Tested On:
- Esther's Linux 7/30 build appears to have the same problem.
- Peter's Mac build shows the message headers in the thread pane but when a
message is selected it does not show the envelope or message body.

Additional Information. I tried resizing the window, minimizing and maximizing
it but this did not help.

Not known if this is specific to IMAP. Will try a POP account.

Build 1999073011M9: Win32/NT4

I cannot reproduce the problem at will. With this build, the problem occured
using an IMAP account (qatest33) switching between folders and moving the scroll
bar in the thread pane up and down. The problem also occured using a POP account
after resizing the mail window larger.

This doesn't sound like an mscott problem if it's happening in pop and imap.
Reassigning to me.  Does this still happen to you.  I haven't seen it.  Marking

Build 1999081608M9: Win32/NT4, Linux/Redhat 6.0, Mac 8.5.1
I'm not seeing this problem anymore. Switching between folders displays the
message headers in the thread pane, as expected.
