User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/38.0.2125.111 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce: Tried to pull up account settings screen. Actual results: A blank screen comes up in version 31.2.0, the newest version being downloaded on the internet Expected results: The Account Settings screen should appear. This is a major bug.
Could you please restart Thunderbird in safe-mode, Barry? Then go to see if Account Settings are now shown.
I started Thunderbird in safe mode, but I still had the same problem. After deselecting all addons, the Account Settings screen refuses to appear.
Thank you, Barry. One more question. On the Error Console (Tools/Error Console) can be read any error or warning? If so, could you please copy and paste it here as a comment? Thank you. I have look into Account Manager, and there is no other report of this.

It will not let me copy the text of the error console.

I am using Windows 8.1. Have deleted Thunderbird and reinstalled it to no avail, all before I made the post here.
(In reply to Barry Parr from comment #4) > It will not let me copy the text of the error console. Opening Error Console, and selecting the error or the message and righ-clicking on it, "Copy" should appear on the menu popup. If, for whatever reason, it is not working, a screeshoot of the Console would also help.
Some of the errors are pages and pages long. What do you suggest?
Push "Clear" button on Error Console. Then try to open Account Settings. This will show problems only related to the Account Manager window. That is the way I do it when debugging Thunderbird :) You will need to close Account Settings before going to Error Console again.
I did as you asked and the error console remains blank.
I copied all troubleshooting informations. Maybe something here might help? I added another email address and now the Account Settings screen is working. I also closed Thunderbird and restarted the program. During this time, I uninstalled Java from my computer because I suspected it might be causing other problems. So I don't know what actually cleared the matter up, but everything is working fine now. Thanks, everyone, for your help!!!
(In reply to Barry Parr from comment #12) > I added another email address and now the Account Settings screen is > working. [...] The account settings could be corrupted. I think this bug should remain open as we don't know what exactly caused it.
Summary: AccountThis Settings screen appears blank in latest release. → Account Settings screen appears blank
Okay, I will leave it open. Thanks for your advice.

The old one is there or the only one that can be configured is the new one? Hummm... I think there was a way to repair profiles when things like that were happening :/ :\
