Issue reported by José Enrique Alvarez Fernandez @ TEF. Reproduced and confirmed on Flame and Keon. Game audio lags about 10+ seconds behind start of first game. Waiting at the main menu does not seem to effect the "lag clock". Although not optimized for Portrait mode, the game still worked well in portrait on my flame device.
Is the audio always 10 seconds behind actions? For example, if I click on a button that makes noise, does the noise occur 10s later? Or is it that the audio will just start 10s after the game launches, but is in sync with user actions?
Audio is in sync with user actions, but only starts 10 sec (or so) after game-play begins.
What is the URL to test? What are the steps to reproduce? Thanks :)
Ok. Testing on Midori with 2.0 and seems to be ok
URL: https://marketplace.firefox.com/app/slice-fruits?src=search Steps to reproduce: - Download "Slice Fruits" app from MP. - Launch "Slice Fruits" - At main menu, wait for 15-20 seconds and listen for game's background audio (expected result = no audio) - Press "play" button on main menu - slice fruit feverishly while avoiding dangerous bombs! - Listen for the moment when game audio kicks in (should be around 10 sec into gameplay) - Slice a bomb to end current round - Tap to return to main menu - Note if main menu audio is now functioning
Thanks a lot Michael. That helps. This is the wrong component. Switching.
@Adora - can you reach out to the developer and/or provide an update?
Is this behavior in all FxOS versions, or just certain ones? If it works on Midori (as per Comment 4) but is broken on Flame and Keon, that points to a potential platform/chipset issue rather than a bug in the app itself.
