I am sorry I did not find which component is concerned

On regular French keyboard cicumflex accent is done with one key + then the key for the necessary letter. e.g to get "â" we strike first one key for the accent then key for a

problem: when typing the key dedicated to circumflex (same prob with upper key supposed to print diaeresis) nothing happens, whatever other key comes next.

1. This problem is not related to my keyboard
I can get the accent whenever I write *outside* Firefox, word processor, text editors etc. just don't show any such problem

2. the problem does not affect browser Chrome nor Chromium that I tested

3. more annoying: the problem does *not* occur on Firefox 33 Ubuntu edition
and does *not* occur on Firefox Developer Edition
but it *does* occur on my nightly config 36.0a1 (2014-11-12)
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:36.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/36.0
Related to bug 1097195 or bug 1077533 perhaps?

It would be very helpful if you can find the exact regression range:
http://harthur.github.io/mozregression/

Or you can try "mozilla-central" builds from here manually if you prefer:
https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/
