Description

STR

1) In Nightly, go to wired.com
2) Press Report Site Issue from menu

Expected: In webcompat.com tab that that opens, "http://wired.com" in URL field
Observed: I get wysiwyg://2/http://wired.com (or similar, see screenshot).

I have no idea where this comes from. I can sanitize this from webcompat.com, but it would be good to understand what's going on from the menu side.

I don't see this on other URLs right now, just wired.com.

Possibly Bug 788547? wired.com uses Mobify.js which doc.write()s the entire site as "mobile".
yeah sounds like it, ancient problem

I think I'd prefer to fix this on the webcompat site, closing as INVALID.

See https://github.com/webcompat/webcompat.com/issues/391 if anyone is interested in tracking this further.
