Old project(s):
https://wiki.mozilla.org/ReleaseEngineering:Autoland
https://wiki.mozilla.org/BMO/AutoLand
https://wiki.mozilla.org/BugzillaAutoLanding
https://hg.mozilla.org/build/autoland/
Mirror: https://github.com/mozilla/build-autoland
Mirror: https://github.com/rail/build-autoland/

New project:
https://wiki.mozilla.org/Auto-tools/Projects/Autoland
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1043010 (alias "autoland")
https://github.com/dminor/autoland

It's confusing having two tools with the same name - we should rename the old wiki pages/repos to avoid confusion.

Also, I think the canonical repo (if in github) should be under the mozilla org rather than dminor's personal account.

I'm happy to do the wiki pages if people are happy..?
I don't know who owns the releng hg to github sync that could take care of github.com/mozilla/build-autoland
eg in bug 1082028 comment 27, many of the hits for the old API URL are from the now-unused legacy autoland github mirror, but it's not clear to people that it is unused.
I agree about renaming the obsolete pages to reduce confusion. Hal probably knows something about the hg->git mirroring for this repo.

Unfortunately, true! Just file a bug for the mirror in Release Engineering :: Tools - we'll have some questions we can work out there.

In general, we don't recommend renaming repositories, as that breaks all existing URLs (bugzilla, code notes, etc)

I think you're talking about 2 different names here: "build-autoland" and "automation-autoland", so there may not be as much confusion as you suspect. (If you're proposing to re-use build-autoland, then there is no issue.)

Another option is to get 'build-autoland' "closed" on all it's locations (would take some discussion with the owner, but that should be trivial in this case).

This can be worked out as part of the mirroring

The canonical repo has been moved to: https://hg.mozilla.org/hgcustom/version-control-tools
Priority: -- → P2

Component: Autoland → MozReview

I have updated all the wiki pages in comment 0 to now refer to Lando.
