Description: When a user is watching a video in fullscreen and landscape view, they will observe that any received notifications will linger offscreen and are visible whenever the user adjusts the volume. The bottom of the blue notification is visible underneath the volume bar; this can be reset by switching to portrait orientation. Repro Steps: 1) Update a Flame device to BuildID: 20141113001200 2) Open 'Browser' app. 3) Navigate to 'YouTube.com' 4) Open any video. 5) View video in full screen. 6) Orient phone to landscape view. 7) Adjust volume: observe UI [expected] 8) Receive notification (text message, missed call, data limit exceed, etc) 9) Wait for notification to dismiss. 10) Adjust volume: observe UI [actual] *** 11) Orient phone to portrait, then back to landscape. 12) Adjust volume: observe UI [expected] Actual: [10] Notification UI displays underneath volume control when adjusting in fullscreen/landscape. Expected: [7, 12] Volume control UI displays. ********************************************** Environmental Variables: ---------------------------------------------- Device: Flame 2.1 BuildID: 20141113001200 Gaia: 569a299ca446f714cd98d5881cc058fd6f6e257b Gecko: d188e92aa5a6 Gonk: Version: 34.0 (2.1) Firmware: V188 User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Mobile; rv:34.0) Gecko/34.0 Firefox/34.0 ============================================= Issue DOES NOT REPRO on today's flame 2.2 Master KK devices Results: Volume control UI displays with no discrepencies. It seems something has possibly changed here with the way this bug is happening. In 2.2 I'm able to get this behavior every time but the lingering notification UI is not blue but black as shown in the video. I cannot get the issue to happen in 2.1 at all as reported originally. Tested with Shallow Flash on 319mb using Engineering builds This bug repro's on Flame KK builds: Flame 2.2 kk Actual Results: Notification UI appears underneath the volume UI. However the notification UI is black now instead of blue.
