>> Opportunity Headline Indiegogo crowd-funding initiative >> Is your opportunity one time or recurring? Recurring >> Describe the opportunity, project goal, and what contributors will get from >> participating in your project. Does this project support the Mozilla Mission >> or Goals for 2014? Mozilla has launched a partner page on the crowd-funding platform Indiegogo to allow MozReps and other Mozillians to obtain funding for their own Mozilla related initiative. These may be events, software projects, education initiatives or other projects that support awareness of the Mozilla mission and the benefits of an open web. So far two campaigns have been conducted to fund MozFest and Webmaker events. We would like to see more resources for more volunteers to further their own causes. Please see how the campaigns work here: https://www.indiegogo.com/partners/mozilla >> Time Required It takes a few weeks to run a social media campaign on your social networks once the campaign is set up. Maybe one hour a week. >> Email Address for Contact carnold@mozilla.com >> Backup person or group to reach out to if necessary andrea@mozillafoundation.org >> Functional area or Product area Coding: No Community Building: Yes Education: Yes Badges: No UX: No Design: No Marketing: Yes Engagement: Yes Firefox Desktop: No Firefox for Android: No FirefoxOS: No Marketplace: No User Research/User Centered Design: No Security: No Support: No Public Policy: No Privacy: No Other: No >> Timeframe Events can be run anytime and should be crowd-funded two months prior at least. >> Background URL https://www.indiegogo.com/partners/mozilla, https://wiki.mozilla.org/Foundation/Indiegogo
