We'd like to tweak some of the copy on the Tiles product page. Below are the sections that are affected with the revised copy intended to replace what is running in production now. Note that I used inline markdown style links as wasn't sure the best way to show those. Respects your privacy ================== As with all Mozilla products, Tiles provide users with extensive control over their personal data. Mozilla respects your privacy and any data collected by Mozilla via Tiles will be done in accordance with our (Privacy Notice)[https://www.mozilla.org/privacy/firefox/]. Only aggregated data from Tiles is stored by Mozilla (e.g., we calculate the total number of views and clicks an individual Tile receives). This helps us deliver the most interesting and relevant content to our users. You can deactivate the Tiles feature by clicking on the gear icon on the top right corner of the new tab page, and selecting Classic to show just history tiles or blank mode. What data is being collected? ======================== Mozilla collects Tiles related data such as number of clicks, impressions and tile specific data (e.g., position and size of grid) to help Mozilla determine how frequently the tile has been seen or interacted with, as well as your IP address (collected by Firefox client side only, quickly translated into a region code and then deleted). Where can I learn more? ===================== (How do Tiles work?)[https://support.mozilla.org/kb/how-do-tiles-work-firefox]
This copy was Patrick's further refining of mine and is good to me.
Can this go live on Monday?
In my view yes, not sure who else needs to weigh in and confirm...

(In reply to Kohei Yoshino [:kohei] from comment #4) > This page has been localized into 40+ languages, so this change affects l10n. Please only make this change for en-US, and we will do a more thorough review to be localised shortly. I am sorry that I did not include this context. We will make those changes in the next week and then have a new version to be localised. I did not want to create two sets of localisation activities for changes to 1 page.
Understood, I've updated my pull request to apply this copy changes only to en-US.
