Description

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:33.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/33.0
Build ID: 20141106120505

Steps to reproduce:

Restart firefox
Login to local application
Debug local application using firebug
< 10 times application debug

Actual results:

Have a local application which is debugged for testing purposes using firebug. In the previous firefox 26.0 I had, it used to run fine with memory well below 700MB. But with the latest, I always reach 1.2GB or above after debugging using firebug once or twice. Neither the debugger window is working as expected, nor the console in the firebug displays the error, which might be a firebug issue. But, the memory constantly increases above 1GB which I am wondering why it did not happen with 26.0 but with the latest.

Expected results:

Memory usage expectation < 1GB

Can you provide us with a test page and more detailed steps so as to reproduce the memory increase? What version of Firebug are you running, and have you tried updating it?
