Opening the bookmarks menu pops up an alert about an invalid URL. After it's cleared, the alert appears again and again immediately, making all Mozilla windows unusable until the browser window is closed (with some tricky spacebar/mouse manipulation). This is similar to bug 110081 (and the other bugs listed there) but more critical, as it essentially makes the Bookmarks menu unusable. Linux build 2001111408.

This bug makes any current nightly unusable for me and I am supprised to see it targeted as 0.9.8. Once I get the Alert window, my only option is to kill the browser, so for me it is as bad as a crash/hang and should be marked as critical. Any chance this can be fixed sooner? Also I do not see this bug on my 2001111314 nightly that is the last usable build I got.
check to see if this is not fixed in a new build.. probably just a dupe of another open/new or fixed bug now.
Seems OK in Linux nightly 2001111821.
Yes it does appear to have been fixed, linux 2001111821 runs fine.
i really think this is a dupe of 11081 since they are so similar and one fix fixed both, but I'll just mark it fixed instead
