Snippet - icons for ongoing use + additional campaigns

>>Project Overview:
We have a series of ongoing snippets and need icons to rotate for these snippets. These are simple snippets and require only the icon. I'd like to used animated gifs when possible as these will generate more clicks. 

I've also included a few additional snippets for some upcoming campaigns in this bug. With that said, a few of the below icons ideally would be ready sooner.

- Holiday Campaign snippet ready by the 27th
- Hello Beta snippet ready by the 3rd

png or animated GIF with transparent back. 40x50 (desktop) & 128x128 (Android) NOTE: NO animated GIF for Android.

>>CTA and Design:
2x Mission snippet - used on snippets related to our brand and mission. IDEA: playful with our logo. Choosing independent. Perhaps we can reuse the thunderclap icon used?

2x Usage snippet - used on snippets related to sticky behaviors such as addons, themes, tools. IDEA:  See image at bottom of this page, looks like a tool kit: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/. Animated gif of power plugin connecting to Firefox logo or browser

2x Sync snippet - used to remind users about accounts. IDEA: sync logo. Sync in Fx colors. Animated gift of Sync logo that turns from black/white to color. Lights turn on.

2x Firefox OS - used in areas we've already launched Fx OS to promote phone purchases. IDEA: phone on Fx color background. We already have one Fox + phone image. Animated gif of phone emerging from and then Fireworks or some sort of celebration happening once it's out.

2x Firefox Android - used on Desktop and Android snippets promoting app installs and other addons. IDEA: show Firefox and Android together. Show Firefox logo and Android together. Animated gif of Firefox logo going into Android phone and making it stronger.

1x Forget Button - used to promote the forget button. We should already have a logo or graphic for the Forget Button. Use same graphic. Animated gif of forget button getting clicks and then disappearing, or fading away.

1x Gaming Directory - TBD

1x Firefox Hello Beta - to promote Hello in Beta. IDEA: use the Hello logo -- smiley face. Animated gif of Hello laughing or talking and slight movements. Not sure if it's OK to mess with logo like this?

1x Mozilla Gear - to promote our Mozilla gear store. We should already have a logo for this?

2x Pocket App - partnership with the Pocket app. Pocket allow users to save things of the web for consumption at a later time. IDEA: Pocket App has a logo. As a second version we need something that implies "saving for later". 

1x Holiday campaign - the holiday campaign promotes the marketplace. We want to promote both Fx phones and OS apps/content. IDEA: a gift box in Firefox colors. If possible maybe phones and apps coming out of it? Animated Gif of items Firefox OS items going into a gift box and getting packaged up.

Hi Fabio, 

Thanks for submitting this. I'm wondering if we might have some icons that can be reused for some of these. I'm going to do a little digging to see what I can find in old bugs and would ask that you do the same. 

Also, with the work week, it's probably not possible to get all 17 done by December 8th (unless that is reduced significantly by what can be reused). Since this seems like a repository rather than icons for a specific date/campaign, we may need to push the due date back a little bit and provide a few pieces at a time over a longer period - say the end of December.

Hi Fabio, want to confirm that the 2x is referring to resolution (ie for retina display) or one snippet for Android and one for desktop?

Hey there. Nope. 2x just means 2 variations. 1x means 1 snippet variation.

Ok thanks for confirming. So any where I see a 1x it would only be for desktop? No 128x128 needed?

We need 40x50 and 128x128 for all of them. So if 2x than we need two 40x50 and two 128x128. 

Also, we no longer need the last one (Holiday Gift Campaign)

Thanks Fabio.  I will try my best to work out 2 options where needed. The animated versions can be quite time consuming. As Jennifer mentioned, is there flexibility on timing with these? Perhaps I can submit them as I go along instead of focusing on one final due date for all? If this is the case, is it safe to say the priority would be top of the list going down?

Animated snippets would be a plus since they generate more clicks, but we need a few fairly quickly so we can close out the bug by getting the non-animated versions. I can submit a separate request later just for animated one's.

Hi Fabio, I've posted some on screen examples of what the first batch of snippets looks like. Let me know what you think, if we are good to proceed with these, I can upload the actual 40x50 and 128x128 versions.
