Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:31.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/31.0 Build ID: 20141013032056 Steps to reproduce: 1. Go to Preferences -> Composition -> Spelling 2. Click Download More Dictionaries 3. Choose one and click Download Dictionary 4. Click Add to Thunderbird Actual results: Download dialog pops up. I can open the .xpi file in the archive manager or save it. I want neither, though. (I might save the file and add the extension manually, but that's not optimal.) Expected results: I'm asked if I want to add the dictionary (extension) to Thunderbird.

Tested in Windows: The "Add to Thunderbird" button offers "Open with" or "Save". If you select "Open with" with Thunderbird, a new e-mail is created with the dictionary as attachment. So you have to save and install it manually. Marked as minor (minor loss of function, or other problem where easy workaround is present). I don't think dictionaries are installed on daily basis, so one extra step is not a drama.
